5 Quick and Healthy Snacks for Any Time of Day

Working from home most definitely has its perks; a 10 second commute, no need for makeup, and the opportunity for mid-day dance parties whenever I want. But sometimes a dining room-slash-desk lacks the routine and structure that an office environment provides, thus leaving long stretches of work time with quick little breaks here and there (I’m working on the whole productive routine thing). When it’s time to grab a snack, I like to keep it quick and healthy. Here are just a few of my favorites, whether I’m feeling sweet or savory…

1. Tomato + Feta + Olive Oil

Slice tomatoes thick, crumble feta on top, drizzle with olive oil.

2. Cucumber + Cottage Cheese + Dill

Cut cucumber into coins, spoon cottage cheese on top, snip a sprinkling of dill on top.

3. Pickle + Goat Cheese + Turkey

Spread a thin layer of goat cheese on a slice of turkey, wrap around a large dill pickle, slice.

4. Banana + Honey + Cinnamon

Cut up banana, drizzle with honey, dust with cinnamon.

5. Apple + Almond Butter + Granola

Slice apple from the bottom, spread almond butter on each slice, sprinkle with delicious granola.
