Giving Thanks

meditation on cliff

This weekend is Canadian Thanksgiving (for my American readers, this is the same holiday as yours, just on a different weekend. I know. I don’t get it either) and it will be the first time in a long time that I haven’t been celebrating with roast turkey, pumpkin pie and my aunt’s famous broccoli salad. And although I’ll be missing the family festivities and a cool, crisp long weekend back in Toronto, there is most definitely a long list of things I will feel thankful for this year.

I’ve written about gratitude here before, and I’ve written about both reflection and goal-setting, but I always welcome an occasion like this to revisit these ideas and press on through the rest of the year. I’d love to know, what are your Thanksgiving traditions?
