Current Obsession: Weekender Bags

I really do love a weekend getaway. It’s amazing what a change of scenery can do to refresh and recharge you, whether it’s a cottage weekend, a road trip to a favourite childhood spot, or visiting a friend out of town. Sometimes the best ones are those that pop up at the last minute; choosing on a whim to change up your routine, see something new, and leave the usual behind, if only for 48 hours. Almost as thrilling as the journey itself is the luggage. A great weekender bag should be a staple in any girl’s wardrobe; one that’s just big enough to stash a change of clothes and a weekend’s worth of necessities. I am currently on the hunt for a new spring weekender. Here are a few that have me totally obsessed…

  1. Hey Ali! Love when people I know make blogs. I was just obsessing over the weekend bag while travelling in argentina. Here’s a bag I came close to buying. Cow skin is so available down there because they eat copious amounts of steak. Instead I settled for a mini version of a briwn leather weekend bag and some cow skin pouches to appease my new cow obsession.

  2. Thanks so much, Jordan! So glad you are going to follow along :) That bag is amazing, and what a great idea to bring a few items back as trip memories. Your travel pics look so beautiful – may have to take a trip down there one of these days!
